The Thread is a series by the nonprofit film foundation, Life Stories (formerly Kunhardt Film Foundation). Each episode features an interview with an influential member of society. These interviews are cut down for time, but aside from some minimal archival and musical score, they are very raw and intimate pieces. Guests have included Martin Sheen, Tony Hawk, Katie Couric, Jason Alexander, Joy Harjo, Gloria Estefan, and more.
